the italian magazine Vita asked me to design an illustration
about the welfare, social classes and management of the money.

Sketch
with Matteo Riva (art-director of the magazine), we decided to concentrate the illustration on two men,
a rich and a poor, that split the money in two equal parts.
Final illustration
I choose a color palette, I like the idea of use "warm" tones and to bring attention
on the central money using a more vivid yellow for it.
Step 1
I started to design the illustration, putting the money on the center and the two man on the vertical sides.
it was ok but I didn't like the composition, I wanted to show more "movement", the fight should have been understandable.

Step 2
I worked on the position of the legs, I add some dollars on the body of the rich man,
the smoke and some trace elements.
